When posting use the following format:
Subject Line: Title
Author: Title: Prompt No.: Rating:(please use the members lock if higher than PG) Word count: Warnings: (at your discretion)
Please tag each of your posts with the title, the prompt number (e.g. #01), and your author username.
Is there a word limit for the posts? Unless stated otherwise all posts must be at least 100 words long. Beyond that, there are no limits.
Can I cross-post what I have written for this? By all means! They're your original ideas. The concept of this community is to create interesting pieces of writing to post in your own journal as well as this community.
Can I use posts I've already written for this? No, the idea is for them all to be new.
Do I have to post by any deadline? No, this is all very low-pressure.
Will I be criticized for spelling mistakes or grammatical errors? No, again this is meant to be low pressure but help and advice can be given if the poster requests it.
What are the 'Friend's Questions'? They are there to add variety to the prompt tables. Please make a post in your own journal at some point before the first one and ask people to comment with prompts for you to write about. It's your choice which one you use.
Can I use photographs? Photographs and other additions to posts are encouraged but you must write at least 100 words.
Please do not post promotions for other communities other than within relevant posts. If you feel your particular community is extremely relevant to our demographic, please contact me by PM and we will go from there. I will allow community promotions only if I see them as relevant and appropriate.
Hopefully this will be a positive debate community, a site for memories, somewhere to post your writing and a place to read interesting journal entries - but most of all, a community to make friends.
